How to Find Us (by car)

Postcode: CW8 1BE

1. The postcode will take you to the Canal and River Trust repair yard. Vehicular access onto the site is gained from Navigation Road, Northwich. A pair of large steel gates form the access to the Canal and River Trust Maintenance Yard. Enter the yard. 

2. Bear right and follow the road between the workshops to the end. Our car park is adjacent to Navigation House, through the gap in the brick wall. You are required to reduce your speed to a maximum of 10 mph and use your hazard lights whilst travelling through the maintenance yard. Please be aware that there may be pedestrians and are fork lift trucks and other machinery in operation in the car park. 

Please ensure your vehicle is within the white lines. Northwich Drydock Company accepts no responsibility for vehicles or contents left in the Car Park. Please avoid parking in front of Navigation House as this is part of Canal and River trust's property, not ours.

Only pedestrian access is available from this point onwards. From the car park walk over the pedestrian footbridge, closing the gate as you cross.

Getting to the Drydock (by boat)

We are a just a short cruise from Anderton Boat Lift. Bear left upon exiting the Lift, and after approx 15 minutes cruise you will reach Northwich. Pass under Town Bridge, followed by Hayhurst Bridge and then just before the next lock, our site is on the left (opposite the Canal and River Trust yard).
